I'm worried about COVID19 regulations. How many people can Pemberton Weddings accommodate?
The selection of entertainment sites on the 40 and 95 acre farms offer choice to both intimate groups and very large parties. This also means social distancing as recommended precaution for battling the COVID19 pandemic can be easily observed for any size group allowed by current regulations! We offer endless capacity with a variety of seating options. You won't feel closed in celebrating in our open sided riverside Entertainment barn like you do in dark steel barns that are, frankly, just like hosting a wedding in any building in the city. The huge Alfalfa Field opening at the far end lets the majestic beauty of the Mountain Valley still be the ambience you came to the country for you wedding day in the first place! This is about 4 times larger than any reception hall available for rent. The Base Rental Venue Fee is $6000 plus GST, securing the various reception and ceremony choices on the property for your exclusive use for a 24 hour period.
Extra days are also possible. There are several covered sites so renting tents aren't necessary. Your Base Fee includes many items and services normally charged for, and exclusive extras like the Wedding Pavillion not found at any other country wedding venues. We offer a growing list of popular specialty items at rates lower than rental companies and we will not charge delivery, set up or removal fees. Contact us for details.
Do you offer catering?
You can choose your preferred caterers. We have recommendations for local companies that we have had wonderful experience with. The Riverside Entertainment Barn is equipped with a catering area, screened from guest view, including power and water hookup.
What do we do for bar service?
You are responsible for providing your own bartender and alcohol and obtaining the provincially-regulated liquor license required by all event venues.
Included in the Base Venue Fee is one of two designated buildings available for the bridal party only to prepare on the big day in comfort and luxury: a wing in the Main House or the Wedding Pavilion. Details provided during the site visit.
You are spoiled for choice! We offer camping and glamping at our second 95 acre farm two minutes away! Alternatively, there are up-market B and Bs literally walking distance either side of Dreamcatcher Meadows. Pemberton offers full range of hotel and private room rental options, located just 10 minutes from Dreamcatcher Meadows in Pemberton. There is of course, a vast selection at international resort hotel options in Whistler, just half an hour from Pemberton. Two hours of wedding planning referral and sourcing information is included in your Venue Rental Fee!
Do we offer parking on site? Are there options to vehicles for arrival at Dreamcatcher Meadows?
We suggest guests arrive by coach in and out of the venue, available by private local companies or provided by Pemberton or Whistler hotels. We do offer a large designated parking area for coaches or personal guest vehicles. By arrangement, we have provision for the bride and groom (or as many people as you wish) to arrive by helicopter, canoe, motor boat, horseback – if you have a different suggestion we will try accommodate it!
How long do we have for set-up and takedown?
Your Base Venue Fee reservation covers a 24-hour period – beginning at 9 am the morning of the event. We will be as flexible possible extending this time at no or minimal additional charge, dependent on other event bookings.
How can we ensure we get our preferred wedding date?
Upon payment of a 50% down payment your date is secured.
*. Our Event Contract is very transparent and clearly specifies what both parties are expected to do. Every couple is treated on their own terms after we meet, so if you have special needs, we will do our utmost to accommodate them!
